Overall it is about 30 pounds reduced from the nose of the car. The factory hood felt MUCH heavier than I was expecting (I don't have exact weights).

It is 100% normal for all the noise even with no input. I run R12 front, R10 rears. Sometimes I get lazy and don't change back to street pads after track days...when I don't, the neighbors hate me as it gets every dog in the neighborhood stirred up and barking anytime I drive by lol

The girodisc rotors are great. And yes, the weight reduction makes a noticeable difference on track. More responsive turn-in. A bit pricy but worth it and necessary for my purposes.

My Mach 1 did not originally have the RSD option, but I installed one to accomodate a roll cage and harness system for track time. If I would have optioned the car, it would have had the RSD from the factory.
