^ Yeah my first thought was a leak of the vacuum for the brake booster, especially if the pedal feels fine after the car is started. OP technically didn't specify that part, but based on his post, I assume the pedal returns to normal while the car is running and the brake booster is operating.

Ya know... I think I like it. I think I'd like it even more if the whole car was the color of those purple accents. The wheels I could take or leave, but they're not bad.

Not many people will go through the hassle or extra cost. I wish factory colors were more interesting by default... Especially on non-sports cars, there's always 6-7 colors, and all but one are various shades of grey/white/black. Two, if you're lucky.

Under warranty, yeah, dealer is a no brainer... Out of warranty, even if you don't want to do it yourself, find a reputable independent mechanic that ideally specializes in Mustangs. But of course, depending where you live, this may not be easy.

I suspected I would get a lot of preachy replies like this. It's not something I plan to do regularly, but as I mentioned in the OP, sometimes to me it's a matter of principle when a station wants to charge 50% more for premium. Additionally, I'm just curious if these numbers are available...
