Procharger conflict with upper coolant tube

Installing a ProCharger on my 2017 Mustang GT
On Page 10, I need to remove the uppermost timing cover bolt on the driver’s side behind the coolant tube.
The tech tip says to bend the upper coolant tube to gain access to remove the upper bolt.

This is a hard tube. Online searches say Not to bend the tube because it can crack.

What have you guys done?

They can be bent but they also can crack. Sorry I know that's not much help.

If I had to bend it I'd remove the plastic fitting then slide a pipe about a 1/4" wider then that pipe over it down towards the base then slowly bend it over.

You already dumped the coolant as I see you installed the billet adapter on the thermostat housing. Simply remove the hard pipe and remove the bolt. Install bracket hardware and then bend the coolant tube. It doesn't take much to clear. You can also slightly clearance the spacer near the coolant tube to reduce the amount the tube needs to be bent.

I took the hose off above and was able to use a wrench to get the bolt loose. Next we’ll see if I can get the bracket installed!
