Welp, I did a thing! I traded in my 2018 Leadfoot Gray for a 2019 Ford Performance Blue. The latest GT350 has been my dream car, so when I finally saved up enough cash to buy one (I don't take loans on play cars!) I went on the hunt. At the time, after looking at a dozen of them towards end the 2024, I finally found one that was in great condition with low miles. It was Leadfoot Gray which is a hate it or love it color for most. I ended up settling even though I was really looking for a 2019+ FPB with white stripes...
Everyone has a story about how they acquired their vehicle. I will spare you the gory details of how it was posted online Monday night with no picture or price, so I submitted an inquiry. I got a phone call at 0900 the next morning at work saying it was available, to how at 0910 as I am leaving the parking garage I get another phone call "Someone put in a credit app on line, we can't sell it until that is finalized" (my coworkers said I came back to the office looking someone had kicked my dog), to a 1530 phone call "Credit app fell through, if you want it, come get it"!
So, the details I am sure everyone is actually more interested in. This car was a trade in back to the original selling dealer with only 1,600 miles. Original owner wanted an F350 and traded in the GT350 which he never drove. Still has the seat tags, plastic protection on the dash, car cover, gourney flap, and adjust strut hats in the trunk never touched.
2018 Leadfoot Gray with 16,000 miles with Recaro's and Tech Package trade amount $51,500 (I could have fought for more I know but was about what I paid for it)
2019 Ford Performance Blue with 1,600 miles fully loaded sold price $71,000.
Had to wait 4 days before I could receive it due to the original Cup 2's were expired and dry rotted, so they put brand new ones on. During that time, they took my 2018 and put it on the show room floor since a week before it was paint correct, ppf'd, and ceramic coated.
Super stoked to add this to the stable!! Already have an appoint with my detailer for another paint correction, ppf, and ceramic. I do have some odds and ends in coming for it!
