Morning all
I'm interested in getting a tune on my 2021 GT but there are a lot of options, mainly only for the US cars. I've been in contact with Steeda who of course can do it, but there doesn't seem to be any customisation options. I enquired about adding the burbles that the Bullitt models do (that I understand is purely down to the map) and was told that the sound is the sound. That's cool and if Steeda are really the preferred option then so be it.
What other options are there in the UK? I know that if I want maximum performance then dyno time and a custom map is really the only way, but that's not what I'm looking for. I just want a bit better throttle response, maybe a map to take advantage of 97, and the ability to play around with maps that change the sound a bit to add the burbles that the Bullitt models do.

Just on the throttle response, do you drive it in sport / sport+ ? (it has a more aggressive tip in than the other modes) :like:

Fells like you are missing what you had from a turbocharged engine before?
Especially because Sport+ tricks you into asking the engine for more than you actually are by pedal travel.
A different tune won't meet your needs, if you are missing what a naturally aspirated engine can not give.

Never owned a turbo engine. Only ever owned NA and SC V8s, V12s, and S6s.

Then the Coyote is probably just too slow / weak for what you're used to?
Why not supercharge it?

That is the plan eventually. Funds don't allow right now though.

I really wouldn't do that to a OPF'd GT.

I've been there, done that & I'm back to NA now.

Vendors might say otherwise...

I believe you can buy electronic pedal adaptors for different, preset, pedal responses.

I think the over-run of my 19 GT is just the right amount of burble/rumble and NO pops!
Stock exhaust but resonator is replaced with a Shitimoto H pipe.

There is a header with GESi cats without OPF offered bei Grail, which at least in Germany is road legal, but I'm not aware of its fitment for RHD vehicles. Ofcourse it comes with a tune to keep emissions on the approved level.
Maybe that's a starter before supercharging.

Over here there are some supercharged Coyote 3 with OPF, so I don't see e big problem there.

I don't know what you've been through, but there's also a company over here that you should avoid, as well as any SC vehicle they've worked on.
However, there are two or three established companies whose supercharger conversions simply work.
It’s definitely an expensive undertaking, but if 450 horsepower isn’t enough for you, you have to pick one poison.

What ever tune you choose make sure the seller knows it for a UK car. I was speaking to a person at a local show who had put a tune in he had purchased from the US and the car failed its MOT on emissions so he had to go back to standard for the test. I have no idea what he had purcashed or it was something else that was causing the problem but just a word of warning.
Maybe that is one of the reasons our cars are less powerful than the US versions?

I'd love to, I really would. I simply don't have the funds to do it right now. We're talking £12k to £15k to do it right with the tuning and everything. Will need a beefier clutch too. It's all in the plan, just not for right now.

Right now, I simply want a tune for the UK model with GPFs that adds a bit of oomph, and adds in the burbles of the Bullit models. At this rate I'll end up learning to do it myself.
