Hello All!

I'm currently cross shopping these two wheels as I'm in need of new tires and figure it's a good opportunity to get different wheels at the same time. This may seem a bit silly but I'm looking for opinions on which of the two wheel/color combos listed look better on my Carbonized Grey GT. I currently have the silver 20" stock premium wheels and am looking to get either set listed in a 19x10 square setup as a precursor to suspension / IRS stabilization mods.

Size, Weight, and Offset wise they're pretty similar and I think both look great design wise but I'm looking for advice on the wheel colors. Will the Tridents be too dark?

Personal opinion, I like the darker color wheels on the vehicle color. I think it gives a little bit of breakup of the colors.

It just gets down to personal preferences. I like the spoke pattern of the X500's better. As far as color, I'd be careful about getting a color that's close to the body paint but not exact. The lighter silver might be a nice contrast. The next guy will have a different opinion. What's most important is to get what you like best on your own car.

Yeah both patterns I'm a fan of. I'm afraid of what you're describing though. I used AI to convert the color of another member's pic with Tridents to show basically how close the wheel color is to my car's color. It looks good like this but that's assuming a perfect match.

I liked the gloss titanium Steeda Trident wheels a lot on my 2019, but I think I would prefer silver on a gray car. A friend has the Carroll Shelby CS3 wheels on his magnetic metallic GT, and I think they look great.

Since you have seen them in person, do the CS3s have a chrome look or more a clear coated brush aluminum look?

I'd consider modeling some black wheels. The ones currently displayed are great in style, but varying hues of silver on a gray/metallic car. A contrasting black wheel could show better.

Black wheel, black badging, possibly a bit darker on the tint.

More of a chrome look than brushed aluminum, but to me they don't look exactly like typical chrome wheels, either.

The pics in this thread look like what I see in person.
