My PS4S are due to be replaced this year.

I run 325/30/19 rear 285/35/19 front.

Seems many of the newer options like Pilot Sport 5 and Contental 7s are only available in mostly 20" and up sizes right now.

Is my best bet another set of PS4S in 2026?
For street driving only. In wet and dry.

For summer tires the PS4 is still at the top of the mountain along with the Conti EC Sport 02. So no real need to change unless you want to try something new. That said for street driving, especially in the rain, you might want to consider the Michelin PS All Season 4ZP. No real downside unless you really push them. Upside is great wet weather performance and much longer life. Just some to consider.

I actually just bought a set of Conti ECS02. Was on the original ECS prior. 285/35/20 all the way around. I only have a handful of miles on the new ones, but so far they’re terrific. Depending on your rear wheel size, you can run a 305/35 or 315/35. The 315/35 is a tall tire relative to stock sizes, so the 305/35 may be the better option there.

I'm very pleased with the Conti ECS-2 I put on last summer for street driving. I haven't driven them in the wet. Great traction on dry, and quiet and smooth up to 120. No doubt they would be beyond that as well.

I'm really liking the ECS02 Conti's! I run them in the 325/30 19 and 285/35 19 like you. Great in the rain and really smooth! They'll hook most of the time hook in 3rd!

I'm waiting to pull the trigger on the Conti ECS02's, just looking for a rebate or discount. Checked their website this morning and they're offering a $110 rebate.... in Canada.

It does appear Michelin is offering an $80 instant rebate at most shops, so $20 off per tire ain't bad.

If you're sticking with the Michelins, get an Avants membership (not affiliated, don't have the membership). It's $99, and will get you 10% off at Discount Tire and an additional 10% discount on Michelin tires.

Looking to do some 19x12 and 325/30 19s. What width and offset are you running. Got a pic?

PS4S are great. But, the Continental EC Sport and Sport 02s are better in cold and wet, by a fair degree. 02s are a bit better in the dry too. Tire Rack tests confirm the wet performance advantage and I ran personal best 0-30 of 1.90 (Dragy) in my SS Sedan on a 39F morning on the older EC Sports. That is… not too shabby for 475hp and rwd on max perf summer tires on the street.

Not to get all conspiracy theories guy, but I don't trust tire rack for reviews. They are a known industry shill, sort of like JD Power awards only exist to try to make car commercials sound better.

Tyre Reviews UK is the best independent reviewer I've found, where they actually put the different tires on the same car and test it in snow, wet, etc. Have yet to find them seeming very biased after a lot of years following their info.

Thanks for your feedback though! I am debating trying the continentals just to try something different from what I've had.

I will just say from my own experience, I’m on my second set of Conti ECS’s (had the originals first and just got a set of 02’s). They’re fantastic, they do really well even in the cooler spring mornings here (mid to upper 40’s). They do stiffen up a bit below 50-55F, but they’re not hockey pucks until you get below 40F. I think they grip every bit as well as the MPS4S, especially in the wet.

The Michelins are still really good as well, you really can’t go wrong with either one. The Conti’s cost a little bit less, if that sways you one way or the other
