Figured I'd jump the gun on this one and see all who would be interested in seeing if this works as I know the s650 is releasing soon, still no access to part numbers or parts available to the public but the s650 door panels still look similar and almost identical to our s550 as well as the A pillars with a rectangle tweeter style vs our circular tweeter however I know the roof line changed due to my head clearance for helmet use, but any insight on parts availability?

Good questions for sure, because everyone is up for parts interchangeability. Due to the change in roofline though, my suspicion would be the A-pillars might not be interchangeable because not only of the angle, but where the lower end meets the new dash.

IMO, I don’t think parts will be available to the public or online until at least the first vehicles get their wheels on the road to new owners.

@LevittownFordParts - would you happen to know when we would see 2024 parts availability?

In order to determine the part number you may be looking for we would need to find a vehicle listed for sale with the trim you want then use its VIN to filter these out.

Update! I got an amazing deal on a S650 door panel for $70, light scratches on the silver handle around the arm rest and window switch panel but not bad for a test part, I shall let you guys know what is involved to make this work

I got good news, everything actually fit for the most part, handles and switch trim wiring is the same, pretty much anything that unscrews or clips off is interchangeable from both panels except the corner top pieces for the mirror but the s650 ones fit, looks pretty good too like oem for s550, minor modifications like only x4 clips/guide pins had to be cut

So the door latch on the S550 vs the S650 is friendly different and relocated. Is that the reason for the cuts?

What about the A-pillars did you get a set of those too to try out or just the door panels?

Correct I just did a nasty temporary cut just to clear but I will clean it up, luckily everything else and most clips fell into place, also the a Pillar is my next tackle

Thanks for posting, you’re the first pioneer to do this with S650 to S550 swap of any interior parts.

Were the connectors from the S650 door pull switch plate and the window button on door armrest the same as S550 - just plug-n-play into the door harnesses?

Looking forward to more results!

Yep plug and play except since mine is a base, I got lucky and scored with a s650 abient door panel but don't have the wires on my existing harness so I shall wired them up

Not at my car to take stock of the visual difference.

Did you notice anything else? Is the panel heavier? Reduced outside noise? Is it more solid? More flimsy? Details lol 😂
