Deleted IMRC on my car.

What did you unhook it from and why did you need to?

It was hooked to my old intake. Removed it because I have a procharger on it now

Still running my imrc, but I’m debating on whether I should get rid of them or not. Oh and I’m not sure what the hose is on the ops car. Mine is a 19

That is the vent line for the IMRCs. When the IMRCs are under vacuum the diaphragm in them move back and forth, need a place for that trapped air to go otherwise they would always be actuated. I removed the line from the Y and left the Y open to atmosphere.

+1 you can just vent it to atmosphere.

Some cars (mine included) come with IMRCs with black caps in place of the vac lines that vent to atmosphere from the factory.
