Good morning to the local PNW 6G community. I thought i would post this here for some conversation to see who is active, what projects you all are currently working on, and what we are looking forward to getting out and doing.

Right now I am in the middle of my first power adding mod. I opted for a dry drop-in filter and a Lund nGauge with a 92 tune. I also have some BMR IRS bits waiting to be installed. My goal is just to refine what is already good about the car into a personalized and more enjoyable experience for my daily driven use case. I'm also heavily researching how I want to handle the grill and induction of the stock air box. Thinking of modding it for the ram air effect but still on the fence. Personally, this is also a chance for me to learn some things from the locals who might have mods that I'm considering and its always exciting to learn about local setups that I'm looking forward to seeing hopefully some time soon.

So whats up? Lets hear what you all have been keeping busy doing!

I’ve been working on a 1990 F250 and driving the Gt500 when the weather is good. Sucks not having an opportunity to attend events.

What year is your GT500? Also, what kind of work are you doing to your truck?

I agree about the meets. I am really looking forward to seeing some setups and getting a real world example of some of these mods.

It’s a 2020.

the truck so far has just been minor items that needed addressed. Front end needed rebuilt. Went to headers and full dual exhaust, these come as a single exhaust. spent the last week working on the subwoofer enclosure and new lower door panels.

Congrats on the new beast! Planning any mods yet? How do you like it so far? Just makes looking forward to meets even more tough, I would love to see a 500 in person. Hopefully the weather here will start cooperating soon and we can enjoy some drives!

The 250 will be sounding nice inside and out!

Best thing I did to my 2015 GT was a short shift kit. My son also did it to his Anniversary edition.

I love the pic! I am REALLY hoping i can get an HPDE in this summer. I also need a helmet but I want to try it on, so I've had an eye out for a local shop that carries them There is a cycle shop in Auburn but not sure what auto varieties they carry. Planning on checking them out at some point. What short shifter kit you guys go with? I've never pulled a driveshaft before, that is my biggest apprehension for installing one.

Barton short shifter. I had it installed at The Mustang Shop, Auburn.

Most motorcycle shops will have affordable helmets. You can try on and purchase.

Back to some more frame stiffening for me. Going to install new vertical links in the back along with a bushing kit for the IRS. Plans to update the sway bars and start thinking about coilovers (along with my brake upgrade, clutch and short shifter updates along with performance short shafts) got derailed by what's going on in the world right now. So I'm doing just some small stuff and going to wait until things improve before doing any more.

More frame stiffening, what have you got on there already? Are you talking diff bushings? It’s a good time to do those small things. I’ve been on the fence about clearing out the honeycomb on the drivers side of the stock grill. I just find it so hard to believe that I can be following the car in front of me on the freeway, on a wet day, and all that mist won’t water log my filter after an hour of that. Regardless, I still might do it if I’m stuck inside long enough...

Just got the gt back from Ford after having the trans rebuilt.

My lightning has the heads at the machine shop and I have custom cams on order.
New Americans racing headers and 3" exhaust are on the way. Hoping for 700 on e85 in a few weeks.

Since I have a non-PP car it was missing a lot of things that quite frankly makes the car handle like it's supposed to around corners. Dealing with body roll, flex, and understeer.

And then there's the wheel hop. Sheesh...

First, I installed a set of these:

https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-S550-...is-Jacking-Rails-2015-2020-Coupe_p_15941.html

It simply makes it easier to get the car in the air. I also bought a set of speed ramps.

Then I did all of this:

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...extension-lower-k-brace-install-guide.100800/

Helped the front immensely.

Then I installed these:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-subframe-alignment-and-support-kit.html

Turns out I had a rear subframe that was roughly 5/16" out of alignment. I HAD to do that in order to get my rear wheels to fit anyway, but the rear handled better after this.

Then I installed these:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-rear-irs-subframe-brace-2015-coupe-555-5754.html

Even better.

Next I'm installing these:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-...to-full-race-combo-kit-2015-all-555-4442.html

Not sure which set I'll start with. Probably red. I just ordered these.

And I also just ordered these:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-billet-aluminum-vertical-links-2015-all-555-4121.html

In the future I'm thinking about the K-member and diff bracket:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-extreme-g-trac-brace-2015-555-5532.html

https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-Hardc...ntial-Support-Brackets-2015-2020_p_16656.html

And I may step up to these:

https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-HARDC...me-to-Body-Bushing-Kit-2015-2020_p_13220.html

...to replace the basic kit I already installed above.

Then it's sway bars, end links, mounts and coil-overs along with rear adjustable tow links to round it out. All of that is in my build list and I'm chipping away at it based on $ and priority.

All of this to get better handling.
