Phew I'm glad I'm not the only one that it's happened to. I thought I was going crazy
Yeah I crapped my pants for a minute thinking "Oh shit what broke"

Just got some all seasons on my 19.. The cup 2 tires have great grip but the tram line was unacceptable. After some suggestions here I went with the Cooper Zeon ..all 4 305 30 19. The new tires are excellent in the rain and handle pretty well around tight curbs.

I plan to get the tires rotated every 10k front to back hopefully I can get 40k out of these as a daily driver.

I’ve been running the coopers since June. No issues. Do they grip as good as the sport cup 2’s? No. But in every other aspect—rain, snow, cold—it is a better tire.
Remember if you rotate, rotate back to front because the tires are directional. Also, you have to dismount and remount because your rear rims are wider than your front.

This! Yes, I have had it happen with Cup 2's. Cold outside and turned almost full lock and POP. Only one time and since changing them out I have not had it happen. I also baby the locking turn when cold right after startup.
My snow tires do this when I start up but don't let the car warm up fully. I think its just the Power steering system or something.

Did anyone ever figure out the part number for the little plastic lips in the rear fender?
These are the left and right parts.

You will also need 4 of each of these.

It warmed up enough today that I could go for a decent drive. I started off with the suspension set to normal and the steering feel to comfort. The tram lining was terrible. I switched the suspension to sport, and the tram lining was only noticeable when the road was really bad.

Thanks bluezeke...I the dismount will be pain but worth it to save some tread life.

Anyone got any pics of the corsa exhaust with gun metal tips and pp2 wheels? I am trying to decide to go with black or gun metal. Trying to see how close the tips match the stock wheels.

thanks!

I have them, but this is currently the best picture I have, which doesn't really show the exhaust tips very well. I currently have the car in a garage with a cover on it but if I get the chance to take a picture of it I'll try to get a better one of the rear wheel with the tips. I personally like the gunmetal tips with the wheels.

Ya I got the full catback with active exhaust. LOVE the sound of it. Lebanon Ford did the install on the supercharger, shifter and exhaust. I didn't feel like doing the shifter myself and since they have to take some of that stuff off anyway, was just easier to have them install the exhaust then. And then to keep the warranty they installed it but otherwise I am happy with it. They have always been very helpful. I also have absolutely no intention of ever drag racing the car, so I don't care about times etc. I may look into doing some half mile events as I think that would be more fun. A friend at work wants me to start doing a few auto cross days or some track days so I may look into that as well at some point. Ill be upgrading to phase 2 probably once it gets a little warmer out. They have me on their list but I Still have the Cup 2 tires on the car and don't intend on driving it during winter / cold months or in the rain. But I will have to replace the Cup2's this summer as they will be worn out.

Thanks TJ

great looking ride... this my second 6g and 2nd pp it’s funny I don’t plan of dragging either but still want that extra power.. I am definitely considering Lebanon Ford for the blower install.
