Care to share?
Based on conversations over the past few days I would suggest that the 2020 GT350/R is done as of this model year.

Well depends how much profit is still in there for dealers and Ford. They discount their other vehicles heavily but still don’t lose money. Time will tell.

But they have the trademark on the Shelby GT500 too and Ford already confirmed there will be more than one model year.

Does anyone know the percentage markup from invoice to MSRP? I’m looking to buy an R @$8000 off MSRP, but no takers so far....

Why not make it $10k? I wouldn’t be a taker at $8k off either.
$5k is more realistic

I haven't seen that much of a discount on an R. I have been shopping around for a GT350, and I've come across a couple of dealers willing to do $8,100 off of MSRP for a leftover 2019. These dealers tend to be 500-1000 miles away from me. I could always pay to have it shipped to me, but I'd prefer to find a local dealer willing to match that...

phatjoe - I vote fly and drive it back! I have bought cars out of state and driven back and found it to be a lot of fun. Plus, you get to know the car really well by the time you get home. If you can save yourself extra thousands of dollars, a few hundred bucks on a flight and even a night in a hotel is worth it.

I straight up sent my dealer a half-dozen links from Cars.com of other dealers who would do cheaper prices and said "Make me an offer - my wife already said it was cool if I fly-and-buy, but I'd rather get from you if the price is right." Worst case, they say no and you get a great road trip. Best best, they drop their price to be competitive and/or throw in some extras.
