Constitution of Trump ... or Constitution of the United States? Only a Traitor to the USA would chose the Constitution of Trump. The only phony is the leader of Cult45.

Where's all your Comrades bj? Maybe they got smart and abandoned your lunacy, just like Reps without the TZ virus are going to do with the leader of Cult45. You really should take some anti-virus shots and seek some professional deprogramming help. :cwl:

Not too long ago Trump's base (including members here) were all gung-ho about withdrawing from Syria because we don't need to have our troops fighting and loved touting the "bring them home" virtue-signalling rhetoric to back up Trump's move to abandon the Kurds (with whom we had a longstanding alliance until #45) and enabled an attempted genocide towards them from Turkey...in order to survive, they ended up aligning with the Syrian government which is controlled by...Russia. Russia was also happy to take over all of the strong points and FOBs that we left for them, free of charge. Oh, but Trump kept some Americans around to "secure the oil" that we neither need nor have any actual claim to take. Syrian rebels needed us and more importantly wanted us there. We left.

Now he had a general (who supposedly is basically equivalent to the VP of the United States, but with military control) assassinated at a civilian airport via conventional military means. A general from a country we are not at war with. His decision is resulting in 750 soldiers deploying to Kuwait with another 4,000 in tow. His supporters are going to again beat the Trump drum, but this time saying how we "have to defend freedom" or some other meaningless catchphrase. But Iran is no Iraq, Afghanistan, or Syria. If this escalates it's not going to be good for anyone, and Trump is trying his best to escalate it.Trump fans are all about 'getting even' and getting "revenge" for the unspecified number of Americans killed indirectly via tactics devised by Soleimani, whose name I, and I'm sure the majority of Americans, had never heard until the news broke this week (though so many Trump fans are already experts on how much of a baddie he was). Iraq doesn't want anything to do with us, and we're preparing to send thousands to use their country as a battleground, again, so Trump can lock us into a war with Iran to help his odds of being re-elected (you may remember the slogan "stay the course").

But I guess that's how you keep America "great."

Also...the Baghdad embassy is in no way comparable to Benghazi. Baghdad is a highly active area with thousands of US assets nearby, has a Marine security force, and readily available air support. Benghazi was isolated, not in a war zone, and essentially undefended.

This shit is stupid, the dumb (and weak) political memes are a sorry way to justify opinions, shifting topics to 'whataboutisms' are half-assed attempts to control narratives, and who gives a flying fuck about Biden and Warren, they aren't the ones making decisions right now that permanently alter our nation's course in history.

edit: Here is the escalation playing out right now

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...statement-idUSKBN1Z20NR?utm_source=reddit.com

“Due to heightened tensions in Iraq and the region, the U.S. Embassy urges American citizens to heed the January 2020 Travel Advisory and depart Iraq immediately. U.S. citizens should depart via airline while possible, and failing that, to other countries via land,” it said in a statement.
It's almost as if the State Department had no idea what Trump was about to do, and now we're in a shit show to evac every civilian American from Iraq ASAP.

So in order to drum up support with his declining (both in mental capacity and size) supporters, Trump orders an assassination of a member of a foreign government. Great, super. Here comes another few trillion (that's 1,000,000,000,000's for the Republicans in this thread) in costs.

And to those who don't believe this was ONLY to drum up an attempt for reelection, this person has some comments: https://imgur.com/gallery/Xg6tN59
