wow, that's a major design defect! There is a stainless shim between the spring and the adjuster, yes? There also should be a torrington bearing at one end.o adjust the rear height the subframe needs to be lowered to release tension on the adjuster otherwise it will just spin in place when the spanner nut gets turned.
