Hopefully it will be quick, I’m waiting to see my ford tracking to change and show a eta on delivery

I don't know exactly, but I have heard that the cars really enjoy their time there.:blush:

So, lots of questions on the process...let me try and summarize.

Body Shop - Bodies are physically assembled. This is the part you see on TV with the welding robots connecting all the pieces to make the body
Paint Ship - Pretty self explanatory...however, the tracking system you all use doesn't break this out...it is part of body shop.
Trim Line - This is where the car is actually assembled.
From there the car goes through a series of dynamic and static tests, a water test, and a final inspection.
Then it goes to internal stripe area, or the mod shop for the carbon bits if it is a Track Pack. Other cars head out for shipping.
Penske cars go once the car has finished all testing, and mods are done.
