Oh man, drop those Nittos dude. Either Indy, Conti or MP4S is much better than that. I love my Indy 500s, really good street tire. They're just ok in the rain though, so I'd go for Conti EC Sport or MP4S if I were you. But on the flip side as @BmacIL said the Indys wear really well also. It's a good all around performer.

I've been extremely happy with the performance of the Indy 500 in all non-winter weather. I love them for a DD tire. I'm sure the Conti is probably a bit better, just like I know the PSS is. For the price the Indy is hard to beat. They wear like iron too.
I've even driven them in the winter as you know. Grip does not drop as much in the cold weather as I expected. Obviously I would never advocate driving them in the snow - I've done it though (carefully).

My current tire size is 19 inch rear 305R35. And front 285R35. Rims are 10inch +35 offset front and 11inch +50 rear. I think 325 tires would tuck in the rear and be flush. Right now I have 305 rear. Anyone do 325 rear?

I dont remember having any complaints about the Indy500 in the rain, would recommend those.

One consideration I am having is both front and rear tires are 35% sidewall. They fill my wheel gap nicely. Other than the 555G2 tires all other brands in 285 and 305 come in 30% sidewall. I'm wondering if the difference will be noticeable with regards to fender gap?

Normal/right aspect ratio for wider 20" wheels on this car.

Hmm. Well MPSS is available in 305/35R19.
Yes available in 305/35R19 and 285/35R19. That will probably be my choice. Thanks you for the input. Now keeping an eye out for a sale. I'm down to 5/32 so I have time to wait.

Costco has Michelin up front rebates every few months. This is one of them.

I'm wondering if the difference will be noticeable with regards to fender gap?
285: 99.7 - 85.5 = 14mm
305: 106.75 - 91.5 = 15mm

Go find some 1/2" wide masking tape and put it on your current tires. Step back 8 paces, turn around 3 times and then open your eyes. Is your car such an eyesore you can't live with yourself?

I put a smaller tire on the front and I can't remember exactly...from 255/40 to a 245/40...maybe that was it but that small change the tire was very noticeably smaller and almost didn't quite look right. Like I say I can't remember the exact spec or diameter/circumference but it was a small difference but visually it stood out too me.

Edit: it was 245/40. Its an obvious smaller tire just by the numbers but I mean the visual seemed more than the numbers would say

Thanks. I'm going to stay with my current size. I really like the way the wheel/fender gap well is filled. MPSS look to be a great option.
