I am getting occasional positive knock on WOT pulls in 3rd, 4th & 5th gear and I run Boostane so I don’t think it’s an octane issue. So I noticed my Pmas 120mm Intake was not bolted down so can that cause false knock at WOT if it moves around a bit? I have a 17 Manual Mustang GT Roush 2300.

Data logged the car and sent it to my tuner and 100% false knock. They turned the sensitivity down and no more knock.

Careful about the sensitivity being turned down, depending on how far they turned it down, it may cause real knock to not be tracked. Idk if they've changed but usually tuners we deal with don't like to mess with the knock sensitivity for this reason. Just a friendly heads up.

The data logs were thoroughly scrubbed by my tuner and I run Boostane in every tank of gas, so octane quality was not the issue. They were very comfortable turning down the knock sensors a bit. If I was just running 93 pump gas by itself I would be concerned. Thanks for your input!
