If you can get it closer to $12 it would be better and believe me there's lots of go fast parts out there for the 3 valve 4.6.

That’s awesome @GrabberBlue , yea, I guess it’s just a matter of timing and a small dash of luck to run across that just right deal when you’re shopping.

I’ll tell ya this though...I have not shopped for a used car in a loooonnnnngggg time, if ever. Very frustrating. These yahoos perspective of “excellent” condition vs mine is utterly amazing. And that’s at ANY price point, not just the one I’m trying to be in.

If you want a Coyote car, hold out. There’s no comparison. The 4.6 3V is a decent motor for its day. It has a bit more NA potential when comparing to the 2V predecessor but it’s lightyears behind the 5.0.

And the 3.7 isn’t significantly faster than a 2010 GT. The 2010 got a little power bump and it’s a mid 13 car stock with a stick.

For the price and mileage I would keep looking. It’s a 9 year old car at this point.

My son picked up his very first car a 14 V6 for 11k. He told me he has run and was faster then the 4.6. I didn’t really know until we were out one day and he really pulled on it. It sounded better, but seems his V6 is a better over all car.i don’t know if I’d pay 3k more for a car just to say I have a v8 but a V6 out performs it

In the never ending quest to think you can do better, that car sold for $14. Sat on the lot, what, all of three weeks?? Last time I listen to you suckers!! Hahahha LOL! Just kidding.
