Anyone know if the 15-17 has the wiring done from the factory to enable the colored door sills and cupholders?
Thanks

It does not. I bought sills and center console from a wrecked Mustang with the “My Color” option. I then had to buy an aftermarket harness and controller to get the sills and cup holder to light up and change colors

If i install the cup holder and this BCM-B module FR3Z-13C788-E I would still have to wire it up like you did correct.
My goal is the install the lighted cup holder and and try to get a tap on the shifter light to get it to light up. I really want to the lighted cup holders. Blue would be great but wouldn't mind it changing colors.
i also have the lighted door sills I got from a member on here but have not installed it
BTW, where in NY are you? Used to live in Springfield gardens then moved out to PA. Lot of NY people in my area now
Hope you are quarantining out there.
Thanks and stay safe

yes it still needs to be wired by you because there’s no pre-existing wiring harnesses on cars that were not equipped with “My Color” from the factory. The control module that i have has an external button for changing color which I installed in the dash.

The control module is tapped into the parking lights, so when they turn on, the cup holder, sills and footlights turn on automatically.

How long did that take you to hook up?

With this kit you can also program the sync 3 module to change the colors correct? I ordered this kit 2 times from amazon and both times I got a $7 bulb. I gave up.
I am looking for a lighted cup holder now.
Did you happen to make notes on the install. I would really benefit from it
Thanks

I have sync 2. I also changed my gauge cluster and can change the cluster color through the dash option screen. I’m not aware of any way to change the colors on the external module through the dash or through sync 2/3. The color can only be changed with the external button provided with the module.
