If the engine is stock, no alterations. 100% it will be covered. Track or no track!

Ehhhh. I think that entirely depends on the wording of the warranty contract.

I have experience on this subject. I did not have an issue. I know a few others also, with no warranty issue.

Is the warranty offer for a genuine Ford ESP warranty or for some other warranty? It might make a difference.

I know someone that spun a bearing on a road track, short block was replaced.

When my 2016 Mustang was stock I snapped a half shaft at the drag strip. Had it replaced under warranty (no issues). Soon after I upgraded them.

Would love to see Fords response when they put "Track Mode" built into the car if it's stock :)

Don’t shoot the messenger...

To be as crystal clear as possible - the attached is directly from Ford - interpret it as you wish, but pay very close attention to not only how the main body is worded, but also the addendum for “Racing”.

Ford’s Legal Team has worded their position in such a way that if “racing” - in effect voids the warranty.

The fact it has a track mode pretty much implies the expected use possibility, but then there's that little addendum there...it seems the basic piece to what you get covered, or not, is with the dealership and the service manager and their attitudes toward it.
