I think you're misreading the numbers (granted, I could be too). There's 506 Grabber Blue GT convertibles. According to your report and my interpretation of it, there's 83 of those that were made in CS trim. That means the other 423 GB GT convertibles that are not CS.

As far as CS cars in total - your report indicates 1,339 CS GT convertibles for all colors (and 3,526 CS GT coupes for all colors from prior reports).

But doesn't your report say only 60 were made GB GT vert? That's where I'm lost.

No, that's not what it says. My report says 506 GB GT convertibles. 60 in my paint/trim combinations. I have 401A package with ACC and BLIS (i.e. fully loaded car with all options, $50K sticker price). That's what I believe the 60 number is.

Again, this entire thread is my interpretation of the information, and as I've collected more and more reports and then some supporting documentation, it's all clicked together. If you or anyone else can point to something I'm parsing wrong or to a report that proves my calculations are wrong - please do share it! I'd love to have an accurate count, even if that means i've made mistakes along the way.

I gotcha, so the 506 is broken down into a more granular matrix of cars based on the trim(s). My piece of the puzzle accounts for 83/506 and that's CS which means it's also premium (401a)... Yes?

Yours is Premium, all GT and EB convertibles were Premium trims. And all California Special cars were GT Premiums.
But there are two kinds of Premium, there is the 200A/201A packages on EcoBoosts and 400A/401A packages on GTs. I think you have the 400A package. I have the 401A package + Adaptive Cruise Control, which is its own separate feature apparently. Here's what 201A/401A has that 200A/400A doesn't have according to the Ford docs:

Correct 400a, not 401a, typo.

I think the paint / trim code number is just this portion of the data plate
Screenshot_20190423-201614_Drive.jpg

So GB with one of 4 interior trims: Ceramic, Black, Black with red stitches, or Black with grey stitches

I looked through the 17 brochure again and I think I missed a possible trim code - Recaros. I would need a report on GB GT verts with the color accent group (Black/Grey seats) and one from a Recaro car to see if they all add to 506. 236 Black, 60 ceramic, 83 Black/red and 127 ?????

Also, the Ebony seats with red stitching was in all the CS cars and only available on the CS cars. So regardless of the logic train you follow I think 83 GB CS GT verts is correct.

So among all the GB EBs, how uncommon would my spec be? (in my sig below)

Planning on getting one of those reports later in the year.

I know this thread is a year old but never saw anyone post anything about V6’s. This is a report I just had done for my car, 2017 GB V6 convertible.

Thanks for sharing. I'll update the OP. We now *should* have all the production numbers for 2017 MY Grabber Blue cars :-)

I ordered a personalized statistics report for mine (they're available now) and hopefully we will get an accurate number of how many GT verts with the PP1 in grabber blue were made. I'll post the numbers here when I get them.

I asked for the number of manual trans grabber blue GT verts and how many of them had the PP1. We'll see what I get

Hi everyone. I'm a bit OCD about things, and I'm also a bit obsessed with all things Grabber Blue - so I've been trying to find out production numbers. Below is what I've been able to find out through collecting Marti Reports on here and on the Grabber Blue Mustang Registry group on Facebook (join us!), plus some other research I've done and continue to do (sources linked below). I can only do so much on my own though, help me out!

2017 Grabber Blue Production Numbers = 9,576
GT Coupes - 4,051
GT Convertibles - 506
EcoBoost Coupes - 2,516
EcoBoost Convertibles - 727
V6 Coupes - 1,206
V6 Convertibles - 192
GT350 Coupes - 351
GT350R Coupes - 27

Total Grabber Blue Performance Pack Cars *
GT Coupes - 1,838
GT Convertibles - 236

Total Grabber Blue California Special Cars *
GT Coupes - 263
GT Convertibles - 83

Total Grabber Blue Roush Cars = 43 *
GT Coupes - 5 (ROUSHCharged) + 9 (S2) + 14 (S3) = 28
GT Convertibles - 1 (S2)
EcoBoost Coupes - 6 (S1)
EcoBoost Convertibles - 0
V6 Coupes - 7 (RS)
V6 Convertibles - 1 (RS)

Other Interesting Statistics for 2017MY Mustangs *
7 Grabber Blue V6 Coupes produced with 051A equipment package
16 Grabber Blue GT Coupes produced in base trim with zero options
606 GT Convertibles with Performance Package
1,339 GT California Special Convertibles
1,607 EcoBoost Coupes with Pony Package
1,625 GT Convertibles with 20" Foundry Wheels
3,526 GT California Special Coupes
3,975 V6 Coupes with Reverse Sensing System
10,849
GT Coupes with Performance Package
All California Special cars are GT Premium trims
All GT and EB convertibles were offered only in Premium trims, base trim convertibles only offered on V6 model

* These cars are not a separate category from Ford's perspective and thus are already accounted for in the breakdown above. Don't count these as additional GB cars built. But the breakdown is useful if you own of these.

---------------

According to Ford...

a total of 125,809 Mustang coupes and convertibles were sold in 2017 across 146 countries. However, we have seen multiple examples of Grabber Blue Mustangs that were built in 2017 but not sold until 2018 or even 2019. It's not clear whether the 125,809 includes vehicles built but not sold for one reason or another.

as of April 17, 2019 "more than 500,000 sixth-generation Mustangs have been sold worldwide since 2015" ... and this number will continue to increase as sixth-generation Mustangs continue to be produced. This means less than 2% of all sixth-generation Mustangs were made in Grabber Blue.

Attached is the report for my GT convertible.

Plus all the Marti Reports I've collected on here and on the Facebook groups. Please share yours!
So how many 2017 Ecoboost with Performance Pack?
You only list GTs with Performance Pack.

I don't have that number. I don't have access to the database all I can do is go over numbers shared by others. If you have an EcoBoost with PP and you pay for your Marti Report, you should be able to find out that information and share it on here. Then I can add it to the list :-)

I don't see a unique number on GT Premium cars vs. std. coupes unless I missed it.
