I want to run the car in the 1/4 mile. for now the car is stock with an Automatic 10 speed and im going for some bolt on's and e85 tune. i'm going to reach for that 500 RHP NA, wich is a better gear? this would be a daily driver also,

I would do your bolt on's, tune, etc. then take to the track with existing gearing and see where your RPMs are at going through the traps. 3.55 worked the best for me NA and blown..

A lower rear ratio will not only improve the 60 foot, but since the 10R80's have such tight ratios and the engine has such a high redline, a lower rear gear will always produce a better ET.

It's all about torque multiplication.

3.15's with a converter on the 10 speed. I would say a 3.55 with a converter on the 10 speed would be about useless with 1st gear being so short. Steeda has the fastest NA car as of now with 3.15 gears with a Circle D converter
