What does everyone think would look better on a stock suspension car on 19x10's? 275/40 or a 285/35? I'm a bit worried the 285/35 sidewall would leave a large gap in the fenderwell on the stock suspension. I'm also a bit worried at 275/40 would look stretched...

Look at my photo above, the 35's (front) leave a lot of gap with a 1" drop. Would be horrible on a stock height IMO.

I've also seen some photos where the 285/35 looks ok on stock suspension in this thread as well. I dunno...

Using the tire calculator from the website below a 255/40/19 (my stock tire) vs a 285/35/19, there is only a -.1" difference in sidewall (4" vs 3.9").

A 255/40/19 to a 275/40/19 shows a +.3" difference in sidewall (4" to 4.3").

Width goes from a 10" (stock) to 11.2" on a 285/35 and 10.8" on a 275/40.

I think the 285/35 also throws off the speedo much less and is closer to stock than a 275/40.

(I think I just answered my own question...)

I have 275/40 all around on 19x10 wheels on stock suspension. If the roads were not so bad around here, I'd lower it.

Those are 275's?

I thought your description had them listed as 285/35's on the Ecoboost website. I'm confused now.
You thought correct! I was going by memory (never a good thing). They are, in fact, 285/35's as per my Build thread.

That's kind of what I thought. They looked a bit scrawny for 275's. That's good, because I plan on getting the exact same tires and size for my base GT. The 275's up front seem really big for a pony car. The 285's seem to be a better option. Especially if I decide to lower it an inch in the future.

My car is magnetic. It was hard to choose between black or graphite. They look nice.

Just ordered the R350 package and just saw LMR just put it on sale yesterday. I just emailed them to let them know if I can get the sale price and hope to get some kind of credit back. I can use the credit for another purchase later.
