So my oil change is coming up. Dusten- What did you use? Mobil 1 or ??
Motorcraft synthetic. I'm not an oil snob. I bought this car to drive and get rid of in a few years. It'll likely be traded in.

I was supposed to get new shoes today but decided to wait a few more days for the shop to get 305s in. That way I can see which I like better, 295s or 305s in the rear on a 20x10.5 wheel.

I've been balking at the cost of the Blendmount Radar Detector Mount and especially their Mirrortap Power Cord, but my tint shop was kind enough to make good on having talked me into doing 5% on my side windows against my better judgement - which was a huge mistake. I can't see center medians in turns at all at night (among other hazards - like scooters/cars/trucks/anything) and that would be a costly mistake to make in this car. Anyway, since they are going to redo 15% for free I thought I might as well put that money toward a nice radar detector mount.

I have to say that I'm very pleased with how it turned out. This little thing is very slick and solid! Almost a factory looking option. I'm hesitant to say that the MIrrortap is worth $45. It's a damn power cord. They do have a pretty tricky swap-able tap setup integrated into their cord though and even if the RadarMount brand version was less than half the money I wasn't sure their tap would fit where I needed it to. I've got a trip coming up and I didn't want to take the chance of it not working out. There are some probably very expensive components from the Safe and Smart package up there behind the mirror and I just didn't want to take any chances like being forced to tap into something I would rather not.

I would caution though - I got the 10" hoping to keep from having too much slack and it just barely reaches from where I tapped the power. I even removed the center section from the Blendmount and that helped, but it is still just a hair more snug than I might like. It makes a clean looking run of wiring when plugged in and tucks away easily when not in use. I would definitely get the 15" or 20" in retrospect and just leave the extra tucked inside that compartment. The 10" is probably only good for going straight into the rear view mirror.

ji love these type of posts since im pretty much always doin something to my car but ust saw this post but within the last couple days i did a couple things. installed my "splitter cam" to work with my tomtop stereo (yes i know i have to adjust the angle of the camera and stop is backwards but thats in the camera and i cant do anything about that) bought some whiteline sway bars which should be going on pretty soon. been cleaning the crap out of my tech7's when i got them they were caked with brake dust. the fronts were pretty much brown and rears were grey. found some really awesome brake dust cleaner at a local detail supply shop by my house. they also have this really good waterless car wash spray that makes the car feel almost like it just got clay bar'd. bought a DSLR pretty much jsut to take pics of the car.

Hey there. I am new here, first post. I have had my first Mustang a 2015 GT Vert for almost 6 weeks. Today I finished tinting the parking lights and front blinkers. I need to put on the new wheels and rubber to finish my blacking out project. It was a good day.

Details on paint type and prep?
Sanded with steel wool. Then cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Then tons of layers of paint. The black portions are high temp matte black engine enamel. And everything is clear coated with high temp satin clear.
