Get a PBD tune and use the HP Tuners Ngauge . You get a built in trans brake feature. 3k launches all day... and broken parts..LOL It's a lot more violent then coming off the converter.

Try a 2100 foot brake and smoothly pedal it to WOT. That should help. Tires are obviously key. Most of these hero times are on Cup 2's and not crappy Pzeros. (Sans a few that have somehow mastered the art) LOL.

Those crappy P Zero's (255's) worked very well my first time out with my 18, with 1.87-1.89 60 foots on almost every run! 11.9's to 12.0's. Next time I'll be on 325 Invo's, with the Steeda stop the hop starter kit.

LSChicago, I think you were one of those he was talking about who had mastered the art. I am still scratching my head on how you ran those tires at the strip without getting earth shattering wheelhop on the 1-2 shift.

I am anxious to hear how you do with the new tires, wheels and Steeda kit.

Correct... I am not one of them. LOL

A showroom stock 18 GT PP ran me when I was on the zeros. Hit 2nd and you would have though I had a 200 shot with how bad I spun. It was embarrassing.

I got 1.87 to 1.88 60's consistently launching at 1500-2000 on factory 255's.
You're the rat bastard that ran into the 11's at GLD right with a friend who has a blue one that did the same? :rockon: Do you know what the DA was when you went? I can't ever seem to get below 2500 and seem to average around 3500 when I go. At Byron it's not much better, 12.0 with a DA of 2500.

If it wasn't you that posted a video of running into the 11's that means there are more than 2 at GLD who have done so, *(&^#&^%#^%&#$&%^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry:

Running these A10's is simple enough, launch at 2000, no tire spin (all weather 20" Goodyears), 1.9 short time and bam 11.9, I get a low 1.9 and get 12.0 to 12.1, not sure what else I could have done to get into the 11's those days.

True. Spinning usually starts once you reach the stall RPM.
Indeed, here I stall to 2000, the tires broke loose and I kicked it down to 1800 but it was too late, as it hit 2nd gear the Adv Trac kicked in and pulled power from every shift after.

For some reason the track allowed people to crowd the area so my buddy could get good video, it was ladies day so all rules seem to be invalid.

LOL, I did run 11's at GLD. DA was about 900. I don't know anyone with another blue one though.
