Thx guys.Yes I plan on progressively modding this car.Not sur if I want to go as far as possible N/A then add a supercharger or go right to the S/C.
I asked the question in the engine section looking for info about anyone that had a comparison of a 18/19 A10 with + without a tune Only.No CAI no headers Nothing else.So far lots of looks but no answers.I do have an answer but am waiting on a reply from my Tuner before posting.I know that a Tune Only does not add much on these cars compared to previous years but like to go step by step.

I am curious about the benefit of a tune-only myself. My guess is that a 93 octane tune doesn't make much difference but a dedicated E85 tune is good for maybe 3 to 4 tenths. Again, just a guess....

Have you ever run your car in the kind of air we have in the Midwest of USA in the summer.....like +3000?

bruce, I got this car in mid september and headed to the track for the 1st time october 14th with 600km on the odometer. We do not have E85 here and from what I have read the difference between 93 octane (94 canadian) and E85 on a N/A 18/19 stang is about 1/2 a tenth. Also most tuners say that a 50HP gain can be made with a tune - CAI + longtubes so getting 3-4 tenths from just a tune is not logical according to that.

Ok, I don't know how much difference headers make. I have chatted with a couple of tuners who have told me that E85 is the way to go with the 2018/2019s. Since you don't have that, I will be interested to see what a 93 or 94 octane tune will do for you. You are sure making good numbers in stock form, though.

This doesn't fully answer the question of tune vs no tune on the same day but it is interesting.

I was looking for that page thanks. It gives us a idea but hard to know really due to varied track/weather conditions.
ie: Stock tires to drag radials only a .02 reduction is really low compared to my results +/- .15 although also different day but similar DA + excellent track prep.
Adding the Lund E85 tune gave lethal a .22 reduction in 60' + a .52 reduction in ET which seems high to me but DA is unknown
CAI + DShaft was only good for .01 reduction in 60' and .13 in ET not to mention better suspension although at that power probably made no difference
Longtubes added 15RWHP and a .04 reduction in 60' and 2 tenths in ET.
Slicks + skinnies = .01 in 60' and .06 in ET - the skinnies alone are worth a 10th minimum in my experience

All that being said if I take my best ET of 11.41 in great DA with only drag radials and skinnies and add the other mods on the list - Tune - CAI - Longtubes + CF Dshaft/Suspension I could possibly have run .85 better which would mean a 10.56 ET in the same conditions.Damn that would have been great...but I will not know until spring.

There are 2 guys up here with 2018 A10's that ran 10.68/10.69 with a 1.59 60' @ 129mph last Sunday without the DShaft

I have seen many timeslips for stock 2018 A10s. I have also seen many with dedicated E85 tunes. I have not seen many who were running 93 octane tunes. Unless someone can show otherwise, I don't think these 2018+ Coyotes gain much with a 93 octane tune. Someone posted a timeslip in another thread showing low 12s on a 93 tune and that was in negative DA. I don't know what his car would run stock but I am not sure there could have been much, if any, gain with the 93 tune.

SCT claims 11RWHP +14RWTQ using there pre-loaded BDX with 93 octane. That is about 1/2 of what they use to claim on the previous models years so as you said it's harder to get more from just a tune than before.
