  1. Best 10r80 mods for over 1k hp

    Car makes over 1200 Hp .we did the mcCloud clutches but they won’t hold 2000 miles later . Any other mods that might beef this up more ? Street driven daily with ac in traffic not just a track car.. thats is why I would like to stay 10 speed

    I also had a chance to put it on the dyno again and had my tuner Rob Shoemaker tune it until I was about to go lean . Anyway I am extremely happy with the results

    Did a few more upgrades . Got a mmr 1500 hp short block with coated pistons. I also had them install new clutches in my transmission

    This isn’t a Chinese intercooler where you need a huge one to Cool the charge . This a custom made unit with a bell core that flows a lot and cools within a few deg of ambient temp

    $140 on Amazon and everyone should have one. Shit I drove 2 1/2 - 3 hours each way to go to the track just to find out I already knew how fast I was going. Def worth it and trying to get back this week.

    The car is still going through stock mufflers. So it’s pretty stealthy. Might put a better flowing exhaust but that’s down the road . Hard enough to hook on low boost right now

    The car is together and runs great so far. I went to the track but the car was getting. Alittle lean. My third pump wasn’t coming on. Was limited on boost I could run . All passes were made launching in 2nd gear . I don’t have a 2 step so no boost on lunches. First pass off the hwy lunching in...
