How to clean out gap between windshield and roof

There is no molding or trim between the windshield glass and the roof, leaving a gap just large enough and deep enough for small leaves and twiglets to fall in and wedge down in there where you can't easily pick them out. Is there a clever way to clean debris from that narrow channel? Concerned that using high-pressure water will just force it in deeper.

I've used a vacuum, compressed air, and a dental pick.

I use a q-tip with some cleaner on it

I have a unused paint brush just for that task then use a California duster to clean mess around the area.
