Rear Subframe Removal

So, i was reading the ford manual on removing the rear subframe, and they make you remove the rear half shafts and toe links amongst other things, but surely all that's needed is to remove the driveshaft from the diff, unbolt the tops of the shocks, and disconnect the brake lines and electrical connectors. Then the entire subframe with diff, hubs and wheels should come out as one no?

Don't forget to free the differential vent tube which runs from the differential, up to the top of the subframe and to the top of the rear passenger wheel well.
