Surprised at how small the 69 looks in comparison. The 69 fastback is my all time favorite car, it normally looks pretty large on its own but next to the 15 it is pretty small! Two totally awesome cars lined up there!

Yeh I looked at the specs on the 69 and 2015 a couple of weeks ago. The 69 is slightly shorter, around 2 inches (I think) skinnier and 4 inches lower in the roof!

wow,

the 69 is stunning. have never seen it in that color.

am learning, but i think if you shrunk the 15 by 15% and maximized the interior that would be the key. including weight.

i swear that my 12 gti has more room in the front.. as does my rx8.

I took my magnetic GT to 'Cars and Coffee' on Saturday and parked it next to a dark gray '69 Mach1. It was a great contrast between classic and modern. It was a real hit and drew a crowd.
Back in the late 70's, I owned a Maroon '69 Mach 1 S Code 390/C6 auto (pic below).

Would love to have that car back again!

Which one was faster?
Stock for stock, no production Mustang from the 60's/70's can touch today's Stangs. We're talking high 13 second big block cars vs. high 12's/low 13's Coyotes.

But the 60's/70's Stangs are still awesome in their own right.
