Hey, does anybody happen to have the pin out information for the plugs on the infotainment / climate control panel, basically want to be able to bench test it.
Thanks!
it can use the wifi to update it's software and it can also use the connection to download album art from Gracenote.
The car also has its own wifi network passengers can connect to and share the internet connection of a bluetooth connected phone.
To be fair I tried the source the glass directly from Ford (a massive 1150 quid before VAT) and they gave me the exact same lead time as Autoglass as they had none in the UK
Anybody else had to have their windscreen replaced yet? I got two stone chips in mine back in late Feb and one instantly split the entire screen in half
It's taken a VERY long time for autoglass to get a screen because Ford didn't have any in the country...
Is it me or did Ford just...
Funny this topic should come up, for the past few days I've noticed several times that the car seems to be down on power at times. It feels like a flat spot in the power band and it wasn't present previously... However up till recently I'd been using Shell Vpower but switched to Tesco 99 octane...
I have a sort of unwritten rule that all my cars have to have at least 30% more power than they were designed for
Which is why I stuck a cossie lump in my Capri's
Now that I'm used to it, the 415 bhp doesn't feel like all that much. Yes it's quick, 4.something to 60 quick...
I keep looking at the Ford Racing / Roush supercharger kits from the states and getting very tempted. Anybody already brought one over and got it fitted?
As it happens I've managed to blag a spot at the silverstone event for the Ecoboost (Fords media department have said early March but not fixed date yet)
I can sit in my Capri with old school Recaro's for any length of time in total comfort, same in my S-Class or even my 1994 Transit lol only the stang gives me a numb bum
Not just mugged off but it would be VERY hard for you to fit yourself. You have to remove that part of the dash, the existing plate is held in with adhesive and has to be cut to remove it and then glue in the correct plate.
My dealer didn't know how the dash came apart and took an extra day...
