  1. Switched Headlamp source

Unfortunately no. I ended up selling the car, so didn't look into it much more.
  2. Where to buy AC compressor clutch?

I don't mean to hijjack your thread, but I just replaced my A/C clutch and figured I'll share the link to my write up here in case someone else comes across same issue https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/diy-a-c-compressor-clutch-and-coil-replacement.141934/
  3. BG Syncro Shift II transmission fluid change question

You still (probably) won't have enough space to get under the car, so you'll need to jack up both sides accordingly.
  4. DIY A/C Compressor Clutch and Coil Replacement

I take no responsibility if you mess up something or get injured. These instructions are provided as a reference to help out with this job. A few days ago the A/C stopped working on my 5.0 and it started making a grinding noise whenever I'd try to turn on A/C. Took a look under the hood and...
  5. Forscan

It's a great free tool with capabilities of $1k+ tools.
  6. Where to buy AC compressor clutch?

You end up replacing it? or did you take it somewhere?
  7. The Big Fat Track Car Cooling Thread

That's awesome. what do you think about using something like this CryO2 intercooler sprayer, just maybe make it out of copper tubing with small holes drilled few inches apart to act as nozzles?
  8. The Big Fat Track Car Cooling Thread

Oh ok, that makes sense...I didn't realize the trans cooler was there. Have you had any complaints about spraying water on track? I can't imagine it being a lot, but people like to complain sometimes.
  9. The Big Fat Track Car Cooling Thread

@Flyhalf your ducting is kinda how I imagined it would go, but I'm curious what's the reasoning for 3 different sections for upper opening? 20-45 degree drop from just ducting is pretty good. Have you seen any further drops in temp with the sprayers?
  10. The Big Fat Track Car Cooling Thread

So has anyone looked into making duct for radiator to improve cooling? Something like this, where the inlet opening is about 1/3 of the outlet opening. More fancier setups could play with the angle of radiator and ducting behind radiator to vent the air out the hood. To me this would seem...
  11. Oil Pump Gears

If you're planning on doing quite a few track days throughout the year, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to look into upgrading for a peace of mind, it's cheaper than a new block. I think revs matter more than boost in this case.
  12. S550 vs C6 Corvette

Vorshlag '18 Mustang build was a good read. I guess when you take into consideration pressure drop in flexible brake ducts it's not all that surprising that brake deflectors work just as well, since you're getting about same amount of air. There was a guy that did similar testing on a Lexus...
  13. S550 vs C6 Corvette

I haven't really thought about chassis safety, but how much does that matter once you start adding stuff like 4pt cage, harness, HANS, etc.?
  14. S550 vs C6 Corvette

Regarding the steering feel in C6, I did notice that as well. It almost felt like steering in a 2005 Blazer I rented once. Well maybe not as bad, but it had that looseness to it. Those are some good points, I haven't really thought about replacement parts. I always assumed GM/LS parts are...
  15. S550 vs C6 Corvette

I was initially thinking just a base C6, since they can be found for about $20k or less with around 50k miles. Not too concerned about brakes as that can be upgraded easily (and probably would get upgraded anyway). a GS C6 would be even better. At my price range I wouldn't be against salvage...
