Where are you attaching the wire bracket? I mounted mine on the rear actuator bolt, closest to the exhaust tips and have plenty of slack in the harness. I did round a corner off of each bracket so I could rotate them inwards slightly. That way the bracket doesn't contact the body pinch weld...
I'm positive. This is how I aligned my taillights to the decklid panel. You will most likely find that these are turned all the way in. So to move the taillights out you will need to turn adjustment screws counterclockwise after you loosen the three taillight mounting nuts.
