After the dealership got the car they realized the rattling coming from the back is actually coming from the roof somewhere. Since that might include tearing out the headliner (and keeping the car another day) I had to reschedule. They said they re-adjusted the windows to close properly, but...
Yea, I think I'm just going to return it. I have a few friends who are machinists who can probably throw one together for cheaper that won't require so much extra work :/ I thought $80 was a bit steep already, but if it requires this much work to use it is definitely not worth it :(
I'm less concerned with the glue not holding, and more concerned with it holding too well :) If the plate were to get bumped into I'm worried that it'd take paint (or part of the bumper) with it :/
I hadn't thought of that, but from your pictures that seems to work pretty well. Definitely let us know how that works out-- it seems like a much better way to work around the air dam.
Apologies in advance if there is a thread elsewhere, I looked all around and didn't find quite what I was looking for so I figure I'll ask here.
I was lucky enough to not have the dealer drill holes into the front of my car , so I'd like to keep it that way. I've looked around and...
I've called the service department a couple times, each time they tell me "they'll call be back to set up an appointment". 3 calls and a week later I'm still waiting ;) I'll keep calling I guess, seems like a relatively simple question to me :/
It seems like the passenger window doesn't quite close. When its windy (or I'm on the freeway) I can hear the passenger window move a little (against the rubber stop at the top) and occasionally hear air coming in. I have seen some posts for older mustangs where you had to reset the up/down...
I had the same issue, I ordered this bracket without realizing that the v6's also have this air dam issue. I don't want to mess with the air dam, since it will mess with the air flow (which more or less defeats the purpose...). Has anyone found a bracket that doesn't require pulling out parts of...
Their email is [email protected]. I'm to the point of switching to a different set of cans personally. I can't keep showing up places with a ringing in my ear and no hearing in low registers ;)
