  1. Starting in second in drag mode 10r80

Don’t need a tune for 2nd gear launch in drag mode. Just put shifter in S and tap up paddle. Don’t forget to select drag mode and disable traction control. Then nudge shifter up to D after launch. All subsequent shifts will have the drag mode hit. Cheers,
  2. Just Ordered BMR Jacking Rails - Any Tips?

My car had factory locktite on the unibody bolts and it was hard to thread them back in. So, I used a wire wheel to clean the bolt threads.
  3. DSS carbon fiber driveshaft 18+ auto

    What part of California?
  4. installing a real tach. who's done it?

The 9117 worked for my Gen3. It does require you to cut the common coil power wire. I cut it on the supply connector. That way I can swap engines and ECUs without cutting again.
  5. Did the 2021 5.0L engines switch to bonded hub dampeners?

Just in case someone else has this same concern... I confirmed the dampener and timing cover are the same as a 2018 GT350. So, I think it’s gonna be OK. I am curious why Ford ditched the 2018-2019 viscous dampener. But, it really doesn’t matter. Time to send it. Cheers,
  6. Did the 2021 5.0L engines switch to bonded hub dampeners?

Got a new Gen 3 Coyote engine for this season and the dampener doesn’t look like my 2018 Coyote. The new motor has a Mustang intake; but, the timing cover looks like an F150. The cover has number “003” on it. My 2018 timing cover has the number “026”. Have any 2021 GT owners seen this...
  7. For Those who have an A10 GT.....2018-2021

”Because I want to.” is as good an answer as any. I was just wondering if I was missing something. My favorite mods; so far, are Steeda 2-piece rotors and a set of Forgelines. The reduced unsprung weight changed the ride and handling in a good way. Best of luck with the new ride. Cheers,
  8. For Those who have an A10 GT.....2018-2021

I’m honestly curious. Why pay extra for a Mach 1; if you don’t want the TREMEC or the track cooling? Personally I hope to follow Flyhalf’s lead and track my 2018 GT PP Auto Mag. Thanks,
  9. Issues loading LR tune

I had a similar issue that was resolved by fully charging my battery. This was a coyote swap project that left the battery disconnected for a month. So, it may not be an issue for a daily driven car. Cheers,
  10. Lowering Oil Pan 2018 On Up

The composite pan has an integrated pick up tube. You gotta pull the composite pan to pull the pump. Cheers,
  11. Aftermarket Accelerometer

This is the best “accelerometer” I have seen. https://apextrackcoach.com/ It will pair with a wireless OBDII dongle and a smart phone to provide real time data logging. Cheers,
  12. BBQ tick - another attempt to understand

There is a VCT rattle TSB for F150s to raise the minimum oil pressure. Looks like they bumped it up by a few PSI. 2018 F150 2018 Mustang GT
  13. BBQ tick - another attempt to understand

Confirmed. Here’s a few images of it.
  14. Where are the good NorCal dyno shops?

Thanks for the info. I’m probably going Lund. I have only seen one AED tuned car. It was faster than when Lund tuned it; but, not as fast as The final Paramount Speed tune. I think Paramount might have been remote tuning through PBD. But, I don’t really know. That particular car went high...
  15. Where are the good NorCal dyno shops?

Sounds interesting. Got any base line vs tuned dyno plots to back up your fail? Thanks,
