After installing the cluster and writing the baseline changes with Forscan, I noticed that the fuel level is reading weird. I looked a bit more into it, and the car is throwing error code P2068 which deals with reading the fuel level. I can't say for sure this happened exactly after the Forscan...
I've had the parts for the swap for a bit and finally had the time to do the swap over the weekend. Am I understanding correctly that we must use the baseline ABD in the 1st page and it won't matter what trim/options you have? I have an auto and the baseline is for a manual so I'm double...
My oem euros are acting funny when the car is started, but work fine in accessory power. It's not necessary the same issue you guys have pointed out, but similar. Did you ever resolve this?
Did switching to a newer model bcmb do anything for you?
I reached out to them and it'd be $400 + shipping back and forth to Poland. Not entirely sure that's the route I would take considering they could only rewire it so that it's only red and no ambers.
Can confirm that if the engine is started and then the lights are plugged in, they work 100%. So...
The private seller did. Possible done incorrectly, which was my first thought. The harness on both sides are done the same, so if anything the error should be on both sides as well. I’ll be taking this to a local shop who should be able to tell me if it has anything to do with the harness. If...
I’ll definitely look into it. I was going to go down the path of Forscan eventually since I plan on doing the digital cluster swap, so now’s as good as later. Thanks!
Over the weekend I bought a set of 2018+ Euro OEM tail lights from a private seller. The seller also provided the appropriate wiring adapter to directly plug into US cars. Excited, I tried on the lights when I first installed them only with accessory power on, just to make sure all the features...
Decided it's time to go the methanol route due to the cooling effects since I live in hot-ass Florida
Planning on doing the following setup:
Stage 2.5 Snow Performance kit w/ braided ss lines (SNO-210-BRD)
2.5 gal tank upgrade + longer line for trunk mount setup (SNO-40014-BRD)
Filter...
Right, and they worked as intended on the right side. I can't say I know much about alignements, but I was aiming at -1.5 as per Kelly's recommended specs. The shop techs also recommended the change as the -1.6 was still in the red (I think that means not centered?). I feel the car handle fine...
Installed by a shop, so I wouldn't know. The alignment techs did mention that that's something that would mess with the alignment, as orientation is important. It's only one side, so very well could be the issue
