The vehicles are driven from the factory to storage lots then to shipping locations, sometimes driven on and off different shipping vessels to filter vehicles to their individual destinations. 9 miles is fairly normal.

I have that issue occasionally with Google maps and android auto.

I don't remember seeing any additional height signs and I rarely take this road so I am not too familiar with the signs there.

Its hard to see in the video but the excavator actually hit the height sign. Found a better picture of it from AZ DOT's twitter feed. The bridge is bent now.

Reviving this thread for a close call I had today with an excavator that hit a bridge as I was passing it. My mustang is about as clean as my shorts right now. :blush:

Ambrotos, I am in Texas. From what I have read AAA (my insurance) is a bit more willing to work with their own customers. It's probably a bit of luck on the adjuster/estimator that I get as to how it goes. My insurance isn't impressing me currently with pushing my initial request off to Geico...
