  1. 2017 R Poser

"It sounded like a good idea at the time."
  2. Anyone move to the GT350 from a C7 Stingray?

 I wasn't going to say anything, but I have owned Cayman R. Best handling car I've ever driven. It was extremely confidence inspiring. I ended up selling it because I was afraid the PDK was going to implode.
  3. Anyone move to the GT350 from a C7 Stingray?

Forgot about the ease of brake pad replacement. Also, drove it around Clearwater Beach and had the top off today, it is a nice feature for sure. I just noticed they might have added an update to the lock features, and you can now turn off the horn reminders. Either I completely...
  4. Anyone move to the GT350 from a C7 Stingray?

It's more of a rattle or creaking I guess. At the risk of admitting I'm getting old, I definitely agree on the easier ingress-egress of the GT350, and outward visibility
  5. Anyone move to the GT350 from a C7 Stingray?

Fun factor, the GT350 because hitting the 8250 redline at 140+ is :headbang: Have a listen: I ran them both stock though, so I would rather wait until I had proper track alignment dialed in before I commit to which one has the better feel. Stock vs stock though, the c7 felt better, but I...
  6. Anyone move to the GT350 from a C7 Stingray?

I currently have both. 2015 c7 z51 and 2017 GT350 I've had both on the track. I've driven both across the state. I've had both for about 8 months. Both are stock. The Vette is auto I prefer the GT350. However, I might prefer the c7 if it was a manual Grand Sport. Here's some...
  7. First time HPDE event

One thing I forgot to take last time was paper towels and windex. It's nice to have clean windows on track. A good pair of driving gloves can be good to have too. The kind that don't slip on the alcantara steering wheel. Clean everything out of your car before going on track. That includes...
  8. OBD-II Interface Device for use with TrackAddict App

I have the Wsiiroon Mini Car OBD2 OBDII Scan Tool (16.99 on Amazon). I use wifi so I can save the Bluetooth connection for an external GPS device. Dual XGPS160 SkyPro Bluetooth GPS Receiver. You get a more accurate reading than just using the location services on the phone.
  9. Most aggresive CAI for the GT350

Agreed. I'm sure they went with the current design to keep intake noise down. Maybe lost 1hp over it. I wouldn't increase intake noise on a street car to gain a 1hp.
  10. Green Filter for the GT350 intake?

I have my filter off. The inner diameter of the filter's connecting side is 5 1/2" The length is 9" and the tip of the filter is 5" in diameter.
  11. Most aggresive CAI for the GT350

The stock accordion tube probably doesn't help with airflow. I usually get a full CAI on all my cars and trucks, but for this, I went with a K&N cone filter only. Mainly because I like the durability of it, washable, and also I'm going with a black&Red theme. Additionally, the car already has...
  12. ceramic coat video featuring my 350R

Flashplayer out of date maybe? Java script out of date, or not enabled? Not sure. Try right clicking on the black square and then copy video URL, paste into new tab.
  13. MY2018 vs MY2017

My wife is 5' as well. Same problem here. I make her sit on a stack of old phonebooks. Actually, a seat cushion. Kinda sucks, but she had to do that in her FRS and her C7 in the driver's seat even though it does raise up. So, maybe even if the passenger seat did raise up, it sill may be too...
  14. Rear seat Release from inside trunk...

I had an FRS, and it had a release from the trunk. That was a lightweight car. Built to be lightweight and they still added a release in the trunk. However, it kinda sucked. Upon putting the seats back up, the pull tab would get wedged into the corner of the seat and disappear from the...
  15. Trunk Lid Issues

You'd think that maybe, just maybe they'd sprinkle an extra dash of QC over the GT350 before it left their shop? After all, we're dropping some $$ on these, not to mention some of us on the ADM. What I've noticed so far though is most everyone is being treated well with warranty coverage...
