Plastic sensor on the back of the blower, passenger side.
  2. Suspension help after whipple install

I’m a Lexus tech, I get to do alignments anytime I want lol. I’ll check it soon but I bet it’s fine.
  3. Suspension help after whipple install

Alignment is fine but I was going to recheck it to see if the weight from the whipple changed anything. Im not just stomping the pedal but I am however trying to get used to the new shifting. The whipple tune was very soft when shifting and the new Lund tune is..... aggressive.... lol. I am...
  4. Suspension help after whipple install

Ambient temp was in the high 80s
  5. Suspension help after whipple install

Allll the time lol. Road conditions vary between concrete and slick ass black top. Oversteer is, in a straight line I spin and almost instantly get sideways.
  6. Suspension help after whipple install

So, my new 2018 got the whipple treatment. I swapped all my suspension from my 2015 car over when i bought it. Mods are: BMR SP080 springs with steeda fixed struts/shocks and billet rear shock mounts GT350R sway bars and BMR front end links Steeda 2 point front subframe brace BMR level 2...
  7. Drop in MPH at Track (2018 A10 GT w/ Roush Blower)

Both of those times are slower than tuned NA cars. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this seems to be an issue plagued by lots of the roush blower cars. The blower heat soaks like crazy and the heat exchanger is way too small. It doesn't help the roush tune is garbage. Get a good tune...
  8. 2018 Whipple Stage 2 A10 Tune Versions

Is there a way to see what Whipple tune version is in the car? Blower was installed at the dealer so I don't know what process they went through to flash the whipple tune or what tune they used. Was only installed a few weeks ago.
  9. 2018 GT Whipple and still waiting

Thanks man. This car has been a super pain in the ass so far.
  10. 2018 GT Whipple and still waiting

Yes gen5 and the plug is correct. I can see IAT2 data on the nguage. It rips some of the time but overall there's no midrange power and only feels fast past 6k. Also, I'm getting high RPM/load misfires. Plug gap is correct and I didn't see any damaged plugs. I did have to repair a coil...
  11. 2018 GT Whipple and still waiting

I was getting knock during WOT but haven’t got to try different gas yet. I can say my car is slow as fuck with the whipple tune, car doesn’t feel much faster than stock. I can’t wait to switch to Lund.
  12. 2018 GEN5 Whipple IAT2 sensor install

Is there anything I need to know when installing the new IAT2 sensor for an aftermarket tune? The gen3 guys complain the sensor that comes with the kit breaks off when trying to remove it...
  13. 2018 GT Whipple and still waiting

Denso lists them at .032 out of the box which I verified with feeler gauges. I would have thought .032 would be fine on 9psi but... whipple wants .028 so hopefully my misfire issue goes away.
