Loosen everything and push up as much as possible. You can bend the tabs some and gain a little bit. My car is lowered on bmr springs with 20" wheels and slightly taller tires and I've only ever hit the pipe twice lightly. Iirc it was some weird angle pavement or something.
Initially I...
The video that guy made is whack. Common. I run e85 all summer and change my oil frequently. I don't see any of that inside my engine. I have a boroscope. Also, I highly doubt the 22psi. I'm 10:1 and at 16ish psi it's 1k wheel on a dynojet sae.
Just to let others know that may not be familiar with boomba. I've had these on my car since March of 2017 and they are still perfect.
Good luck with the sale!
Here is me shifting the stg 3. This is as fast as I can shift without the no lift shift wot box that I haven't hooked up yet.
And yes, I have bias ply tires on with 20" front radials. Yes, it's all over the place. Lol. I don't go to the track much, so don't care.
Also, this run was a...
To me the stg3 calimer still feels like the stock mt82. Yes, gear clash/nibbles when cold. Ie. Clunky. But once warm, buttery smooth. I'm running the recommended amsoil. I've never missed a shift with my stg3 vs stock I was having trouble at times shifting into 3rd fast. And it was Macleod...
Hard to describe in text, but it's one of those things where you would have to shut the stereo off to hear it. Same sound as a straight cut reverse gear, but very, very low. Ever watch rally cars with the sequential shifter and you can hear the gears whining? Like that but so low that when...
Calimers shop is only an hour from me. My stg3 has been holding up fine. I don't go to the track a lot, so I'm not doing 5k clutch dumps. The gears do have some light whine, but it's no big deal and I have a direct mgw shifter.
I had excellent service at calimers. I stopped in the shop and...
And, hell yeah e85 is worth it. ZERO knock. Smells good. Makes a ton of power for $3 @ gallon in my area. My car also starts immediately even in 30 degrees. All these videos I see of e85 cars having trouble starting I'm wondering if they don't have adequate fuel prime from the start and the...
People keep saying this, but I can only give you my experience... i have a fore level 4 system running E85. My car makes over 1k to the wheels and I run the tank to almost zero and don't have any issues in normal driving. I don't go wot at super low levels. But I have gone wot a lot at...
Are you planning on turning it up? Thats a lot of engine for 832hp. Mine makes 972/818 with rods/pistons. 10:1 compression. Stock heads. Been running it that way for thousands of miles and who knows how many wot hits.
If your seeing knock, why not just set the tune up for 91-93? Sounds like the tune/timing is too aggressive. If your seeing knock it's only a matter of time before kaboom.
I've been driving frequently this summer my twin turbo setup. I love when I hear it's overkill to drive a 1k whp setup on the street. hahaha I don't have any problems. Except I need to setup my boost controller to lower boost in 1st and 2nd. Me personally, I will never go back to any other...
Unfortunate, but shit happens. They'll fix it. They sent me wrong oil cap adapter at first. The oil caps are slightly different sizes from gen2 to gen3. I switched to aluminum gt500 valve covers that have an oil port built in instead of using the oil cap.
