Who knows what to believe anymore but fwiw i remember RT was the first to say the gt350 would have a flat crank.
Personally think it should stay manual only but i'm sure it'll help with track times.
+1 for the S/C V8. Works best for the drag strip.
Even if they were to ever change up the RWD layout it wouldn't be just for a HiPo model it would be for a whole new platform and I hope they dont. AWD will add weight which is what they should be fighting for the next one.
Any hints about 'future vehicles' you mentioned? Sometime these surveys ask things like "which of these options would you be interested in if they were available"
It could give a hint of what's to come
Not really. In your post you said the S550 will end with the 2019 Mustang. This document says the new generation would start as a 2021 Mustang which seems much more likely.
It is completely silent on whether we would see a GT500. Actually, the fact that the S550 will go all the way to 2020...
Yea I know it's not apples to apples and not what the GT350 was designd for. Still fun to watch tho
Hellcat Challenger 147 MPH vs Shelby GT350 142 MPH , both stock.

Why would anybody pit a Dodge Challenger Hellcat against a Ford Mustang Shelby GT350? Such a battle doesn't...
Huh? I was posing a scenario that I said I would be shocked to see. Go back and read the post I was quoting.
Of course we can see a Mach 1 and GT500 at the same time. I think we will for the 2018 MY. I just don't agree with Mustangchief that the 350 will continue until the end of the S550's...
I'd be shocked if this were true. That would be one short and strange platform life. So 2015-2019 with a mostly redesigned platform and only one S550 HiPo version with an engine they wont put in any other car. That would also put any GT500 at 2021 earliest since they won't be coming out with it...
'17 Mach 1 and '18 GT500 are what multiple credible users have been saying will happen for months. Is it time for new sections maybe?
The GT500 thread has over 500 posts so new section will make it easier to find info in threads that get pushed down all the time.
