Simple except that I already have the Steeda camber plates, that it looks like I won't be able to use with the B16. All the spherical bearing mounts use a reducer bushing to step the ID of the spherical center down to shaft diameter, so that isn't an issue, but the shorter length of threads on...
The B16 struts are designed to reuse the OEM strut mounts, which means they have to be the same diameter as OEM, but the length of thread may be different.
If they will work with OEM strut mounts, they should work with the OEM adjustable mounts.
Steeda says their camber plates won’t work with Bilstein, so which ones will? Or is there a way to make it work? No idea what the actual issue is until I get the car torn apart.
Did you ever resolve this issue, or can anyone else confirm this amount of deflection is/is not normal? Looking at the amount of structural ribbing on other units especially the Whipple, the Edelbrock cover looks pretty wimpy.
Bump, interested in these too. They appear to be cast steel and use the OE style spherical joints. This is a better design than I've seen in most aftermarket solutions.
I've got a full kit P/N 158380 purchased from Evolution with a CNC ported head unit by Kong Performance, everything new in unopened boxes except for the head unit which Kong repackaged for return shipping. I've been on the fence about actually doing this install or staying N/A and I'm leaning...
