It's not for me. I run GT350R springs with Konis and love them. My friend has a blower on his car, so I thought the GT500 CFTP springs would work even better for him, since the GT500 springs account for the extra weight of the blower.
I run GT350R springs on my non-magneride car even thought they are technically Magneride. The only issue with them was you needed to run 2 right springs on the rear as the GT350's have different springs for both right/left. I would assume the GT500 springs would work, but I'd have to check and...
Has anyone had any issues with their Brembo logo on the gloss painted calipers (Bullitt, Mach 1, 50th anniversary) fading? It's looking pretty bad. I'm guessing my only option is to get some vinyl decals to put over them? Has anyone had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
That's a good price. I pieced together my set for about that price but I used the red Bullitt calipers. Brembo doesn't make the brake pads for the Performance pack cars. They use Ferodo, at least they did. That's what my OEM pads are. What I can say is they're excellent for street and light...
Thanks! So from what I've been seeing on Youtube the people tend to tape off a few inches outside the damaged area to blend it, are you saying it's easiest to tape off just the damaged area? I'd rather just fix and spray the damaged area and no spray over the surrounding good paint, even though...
Thanks. I've been watching a few YouTube videos and the rattle can stuff the people have been using to fix the spots tends to be matte and leave a textured finish. Any recommendations on what type paint to get to get it close to the factory gloss and smooth finish?
Has anyone tried repairing the bubbling spots themselves? I don't have the cash to have the hood repainted right now and was wondering if I could repair it enough to make it look somewhat decent. I'm thinking the spots would need to be sanded down, primed and then I know companies sell matched...
Currently I have an X-pipe, Roush mufflers, and a no-tune CAI. Obviously, the few HP it may add isn't really noticeable. This week I picked up a GT350 intake manifold, Roush CAI, and am getting a tune. For anyone that has done this, is the difference notable, like a seat of the pants difference...
Great write up. I have a black car that spends its days outdoors. For me the best products I've found are:
Soap - Here, I don't have a preference. Chemical Guys Snow Foam has worked well for me. I'm not a fan of most of their products but the snow foam works well and smells good, though I do...
Most of the tuners seem to recommend you stay with the stock GT TB. The GT350 apparently has issues with drivability and throttle response for no real gains.
Thanks for the info. I picked up the install kit. Mainly because it seems like it would be a lot easier than messing with the wires, with the added benefit of looking cleaner.
Still need to grab a throttle body. This install is ending up being a lot more expensive than I expected. lol
I have the 7000. They work great, but unfortunately I don't have a garage to work in so I have to drag them outside and they weigh a ton. I use them with Steeda low profile jacking rails. One thing to be careful of is when lowering the car I stand behind it so I can make sure both sides go down...
I recently picked up a GT350 IM, Roush CAI, SCT tuner, and will be getting a tune soon. My question is, what's the best budget adapter to run a stock GT throttle body on the GT350 IM. Are they all about $100? Also, do I need a JDM install kit? Is it worth the money? Thanks.
Thanks. Going to call this week and see what they say. At the very least the blend door is covered, but either they find the real problem or I'll just keep brining it back for the blend door until they decide it's easier for them to find the actual cause. I hate dual climate control, it's been...
