I am in the process of adding a subwoofer in the trunk which is getting another amplifier. You can use the junction block up front for 1 amp with a #4 gauge wire, but 2 amps need to go directly to the battery post. Some people are using the terminal clamp bolt which works, but this way it stays on permanent.

Remove the plastic guide

Drill a 1/4" hole in the terminal

A 1/4"-20 nut slides right inside the terminal.

Bend the copper lug into a 90*

The bolt needs to be short, either 3/8" or 1/2" long.
Installed (Custom).jpg

Trim the rubber cover slightly and its done.Nice and clean.
Covered (Custom).jpg

The 0/1 cable just fits,2 gauge would have some more room.

Very nice, looks clean. I wouldn't have thought of that.

What I wanted to do was drill and tap a bolt into the terminal to make a stud like the way the negative one is.But the wires are crimped so close to the post there is no room to squeeze it in between.
