People can post Camaros running this and Mustangs running that blah blah blah. The only real comps I'll be interested in seeing is same day, same track, same driver comps.

Unless the Camaro runs a faster time...then it counts. Right?People can post Camaros running this and Mustangs running that blah blah blah. The only real comps I'll be interested in seeing is same day, same track, same driver comps.
In a straight line is basically a drivers race. Camaro still a good bit better on the track. And news flash to all Ford guys.. no on gives a fuck you have less displacement. Like you use it as bragging rights. Despite that fact you have 4 cams and 4 valves per/cyl. All that you should care about is performance at the end of the day, how its gets theres doesnt mean anything.Camaro6 is having a hissy fit.
They cannot get over the fact that the Stang is as quick while weighing more and having 1.2 liters less displacement.
So your saying that it does not matter that a Boss351 Can beat a 454LS6?In a straight line is basically a drivers race. Camaro still a good bit better on the track. Im talking about modern cars.. not dinosaurs. So your saying that it does not matter that a Boss351 Can beat a 454LS6?
Oh by the way, you have more pushrods.....and displacement....and weigh more....
The LT1 has been weighed to around 455-460lbs.Im talking about modern cars.. not dinosaurs.
Oh by the way the 5.0 weighs more lbs than the 6.2 liter LT1. Can be mounted lower and further back for better weight distribution and balance.
Ok well then looks like they weight pretty much the same. So whats your excuse for the 5.0 weighing the same despite being 1.2 liters smaller? The LT1 has been weighed to around 455-460lbs.
Displacement is still displacement and you need far more of it.
LOL....Fact! Now go back to camero6.
Run along, chop chop.
What's the difference ? Pretty obvious your not a Mustang guy. Also Im a Corvette guy not a Camaro guy.
I like Mustangs I love what Ford has done with the 2018 they're great cars. I just hate how everyone around here thinks that they're the second coming of Jesus though. Facts are there pretty much even with a Camaro in a straight line. What's the difference ? Pretty obvious your not a Mustang guy.
Who said that LOLI like Mustangs I love what Ford has done with the 2018 they're great cars. I just hate how everyone around here thinks that they're the second coming of Jesus though. Facts are there pretty much even with a Camaro in a straight line.
It's always a driver's race. Someone could always shift slow or spin the tires. That said, the auto vs auto videos show the Mustang GT pulling away from the Camaro SS.In a straight line is basically a drivers race. Camaro still a good bit better on the track. I am a manual purists, but the engineer in me fully agrees.Being saying it for months that stock 18 would post high 11's, glad to see it has being achieved, the performance modern transmissions can extract from cars these days is fantastic. The A10 will get the gears in fast and keeps the car on the boil.
Nissan proved what a great transmission does for acceleration 9 years ago with the GTR. VW proved it with the Golf R as stage 1 (remap only) Golf R with DSG post around 11.7@120 times, whereas the manuals can struggle to go under 13s.
Modern transmissions these days are like having an extra 100-200HP in the quarter mile, makes the world of difference.
