Yah...they are interesting to say the least...would have to see them in person/on to get a better look. Hopefully it will be at the DC show.
Hmm, the only thing interesting in that picture was the quad exhaust and the "Sport" badge. That could be interesting... not that I will sell my 'Stang for it, but I always thought an ST version of the Fusion was needed. That front end, though... :tsk:

This can't be real. That looks like total shit. And quad exhaust on a economy sedan? Wtf lol.
Trained eyes will notice that it has a SPORT and Ecoboost badge. I'm guessing something quite a bit more potent than the 2.0L already available (perhaps the 2.7L that the Edge and F-150 get, and AWD?)

I saw that, doesn't change the fact that nothing other than the badge is sporty at all about the car. It's still just an economy car lol.

Perhaps. Hard to see if it has heavier springs and swaybars and AWD in those shots. I'd love a relatively unassuming sedan that is fast in a straight line and decent in the corners. I'm guessing we'll find out all the details next week.

This is, I'm sure not going to be a very popular opinion, but here it goes...

I for one would like to see the normal expansion of options and or eliminate the separations between what the Auto can get vs. the Manual (Ford normally spreads the options around after the first two years. For example, no PP in the Auto at this time, they should allow it for either trans choice).

Most importantly... I would like two things...

1. The magnetic suspension to become an option with bigger brakes and coolers (As a package) on the GT or GT Premiums (Because I like the factory warranty/service and I am willing to pay for Ford engineered products)(They can do this or just add it to the Mach 1, either way would be cool for me) because the Camero can get the suspension added for about $1700 and bigger brakes for $3200, why can't the Mustang?
2. Sunroof or glass roof to return as an option (I mean, the Camero is smaller and has a sunroof as an option)

And no, I am not suggesting these items because Camero can all of the sudden. These are actually specific wants my wife and I have had the moment we saw the GT350. And with the GT350 being close to impossible to purchase without some *Bleeping* excess cost and or they are choosing to not make enough to sell because they want a cash machine, stopped us from buying until we can have these options on a GT Premium.

In fact, I was literally at a buddy of mine Chevy dealership yesterday, pricing out a Camero 2SS the way we would build one, and it was only about $5k more with the Sunroof, some small add ons, the suspension and rims we wanted than the 2016 GT premium was with only the options Ford is providing at this time.

And as a side note... My wife and I really enjoyed the way Ford had the "Customizer" for the 2013-2014 mustangs. We enjoyed the expansive options we had for our Mustang. Now it is like they lost their way and we are dumbed down to grocery getter options.

Bring back the customizer an options Ford! :ford:

Magnetic suspension. At least make it an option.

Rev matching downshifts on the MT. Test drove a 370Z with this. Once I got used to it, I loved it.

Dual mode exhaust. Let's hear this thing!!! The current GT is way too quiet for a V8.

GT PP gets the flat bottom, alcantara steering wheel.

Different wheel option for PP. Maybe use the GT350 wheel/tire size too?

So we'll be hopefully getting some news soon ?

Anyone got a quick list of possible events Ford might be releasing new information ?

You sound jelly, brah.

Surprised that there is so much hate for the fusion in this thread because the new bumper pretty much flows like a GT350 bumper.

Depends if there's anything significant...........such as an SE. If there is, then I'd expect (OK, more like hope!) it'd be announced at the Detroit show next week, or the New York show in April.

If there's nothing more significant than new colours/trim, then I'd expect them to just announce something nearer to the release of the '17MY cars, so around June/July time, perhaps a little later.

Lol, I am not "jelly". Although If I am I prefer grape.

It just doesn't have anything to pull off the quad exhaust. I really don't know how to explain it. For example, the WRX is a very sporty designed Sedan that pulls off the quad exhaust very well. This fusion.. well it just doesn't IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see an ST Fusion as much as the next guy, but if this picture is the "Sporty" version then I am disappointed.

And how you see similarities of this and the GT350 bumper I have no idea lol:shrug:.

Ta for that......I was too lazy to search for when the '16 order banks opened. You'd think I'd remember by now
