I split the difference and went with a satin black wrapped roof. It looks great. Had gloss originally, they kind of messed up the install, so they were redoing it for free thought about matte, they did not have matte but had satin. I had not thought of satin before, but I love it. My car is magnetic and with the gloss you could not really see any contrast, the matte sets it off enough so its visible.
