You can get a Z51 for less than a GT350 Track or Tech. Why are people playing ADM for a slower car again? Because Shelby? So much for Ford's terrible vague marketing that the regular GT350 is as fast as a Z51 Vette. It's not.

Lord have mercy... So for $13,900 less I can get a 350TrP, which after I bought a set of lighter wheels and gripper tires ($5K), I'd beat the snot out of that C7?

Somebody help me here... I know I need glasses but damn, did I just see the 350TrP start walking the C7 down??? 0-100 and 0-150 times are identical... What the hell?

Just read. The Vett cost more and they rate the GT 350 with track pac better, Good.

Does it "rattle" as bad as they say in the article?

You can get a Z51 out the door for less than a GT350. Don't be fooled by the tarted up as tested price.

Just to be fair, they used the fully loaded 3lt. The z51 1lt is only $61000.:cheers:

Which you can find on Cars.com going for as low as $56k new.

Oh and Ford really needs to do something about offering only a 16 Gallon Fuel tank in the Stang. 18.5 like the Vette would be much better.

Aerodynamic and weight. The Vette seems like have a lot more aerodynamic than the 350.

14k less? With ADM as high as it currently goes, you are lucky just paying 13k for ADM.
Without ADM yes the 350 is better. With ADM the 350 suddenly becomes not very competitive.

Run the A8 Z51 against the GT350 and the numbers get worse for the gt350.

Does seem high for the 350. Regular GT pulls 70-0 at 175ft.
I would imagine the 350 to be in the 160 range but maybe they are not using the right pads for the test. The vette might have lower temperature pads.
