I had the blower and speed controller replaced at 5k miles; the blower speed would fluctuate on its own. Now at 8,500 miles the AC turns itself on.

That's weird. Your car has a mind of it's own.

That's not the A/C turning itself on. That's the climate control system turning on without input.

Take it to the dealer and have it repaired. Make sure you give them accurate information. If you tell the adviser that the A/C turns itself on, they're going to be looking at the A/C relay and circuits. You need to tell them that the HVAC system powers on without any input.

I also recommend you bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get it checked out, GhostRider8. Let’s get this escalated for you as well PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number.

Deysha,
I have already emailed Mistie the CSM for my area, I have her contact from previous issues that still haven't been resolved. She hasn't returned my email.

Thanks fordtech,
At this point I've had so many problems with this car I'm ready to just lemon law it. The only thing that's holding me back is having to buy another car. I'm trying to buy a house and I don't want to open anymore credit obligations before that. I fairly confident it's a water leak messing with the electrical because it only seems to happen after rain. I have checked all my grommets and carpet inside the car, nothing is wet. I don't know if it's something under the hood getting wet or what?

what other issues with the car have you had ?

For this particular issue, I can't tell that the car has spent any time at the dealership warranty repair.

I don’t think they can go back to a closed case from September, GhostRider8. It was also regarding a different concern. However, I’ve escalated this for you and someone should contact you today.

I've had the notorious MT-82 grind since 500 miles and it has only gotten worse. I have taken it to multiple dealers one says it's completely normal  the other SM stated "every mustangs grinds" both managers acknowledged the grind. Brembo break vibration at low speeds with light pressure (dealer can't reproduce). Blower motor fluctuates on its own (I don't have auto climate control). Dealer replaced speed controller which didn't work so they then replaced the blower motor. Clear coat coming off my third brake light. Misaligned panels all which are considered "normal" because every mustang on the lot is the sameway. I wonder if ever mustang caught fire and burnt to the ground if it would be "normal" as well?

Heres the brake vibration video

Maybe you can take your car to an independent mechanic / transmission shop / performance shop and second opinion on your MT82. Ideally you could find a enthusiast mechanic that owns an MT82 or a Tremec to compare. They can recommend either warranty repair, aftermarket shifter, or do nothing.

Is that video for the humming sound? Again, that's another item you could get a 2nd opinion at an independent mechanic / brake shop. They can pull the pads and see if its anything obvious.

Yes it's the humming sound. I'm going to drive my car and a new GT at the dealer and see if the new GT grinds like mine.

I just watched the video of your claimed brake vibration. That is the result of the brakes pads vibrating within the caliper due to cold friction compounds and light application pressure. Does it go away after the brakes warm up? If so, then that's a normal characteristic of the high performance calipers and brake pads used on the Performance Pack models. It's nothing that requires repair.

As far as the transmission "grind", can you post a video? I find it very hard to believe that your transmission grinds when shifting and the dealer won't help. As far as being "notorious" that is quite an overstatement, I've driven plenty of MT-82's and never had any grinding issues. Does it grind only in certain gears? Does it grind if you shift gears with the engine running at a stop and the clutch fully depressed?

Why don't you post some pictures of your claimed body panel misalignments? It seems that people on this site feed into each other regarding this issue and blow it way out of proportion.
