GT350 Steering wheel

I ordered mine on Tuesday, just received it yesterday. I was able to get it for $245 shipped from a dealer 1 state away (they aren't a sponsor so I can't say who). I'll be installing it in Tuesday once the weather warms a bit and the wheel has a chance to air out (its got an interesting smell to it lol).

Is there a price on that carbon dynamics wheel?

I am going to say 1k+. There is a company which they have an (almost) identical wheel but for the corvette. So are they the same company? Probably. Might I be wrong? Probably.

That's nice and all, but from my view, carbon dynamics bit off more than they can chew, so it might be a while before those are even for sale.

Received the wheel from Benny yesterday, and installed it this morning. Took me a bit longer than most of you (about 90 mins) just to make sure of a couple of things. Overall, the wheel is a beautiful piece, and fits perfectly with all the trim pieces, etc...I do wish it was slightly thicker, but outside of that I am super happy. Small mod, that really changes the car for the better.

I had a what the hell moment and went ahead and installed the wheel today. I've done a wheel swap before, but by God, this was far easier. It's especially helpful when the wheel is more or less self centering. The last time I did this I had to mark both wheels and guess as best I could what center was.

Only took me about 50 minutes and I was taking my time.

Installed my wheel this morning, I can't believe just how much better it feels in the car. The stock wheel just feels like garbage now!

I searched this thread and couldn't find what I was looking for...how are people planning on maintaining the wheel to keep it looking new?

A damp microfiber to remove any dirt and a dry one to follow up usually works good. Light pressure with each though.

Sonax makes an amazing Alcantara cleaner. I used it on my ZHP BMW and it took years of dirt/stains out no problem. If I was going to buy this wheel, I would definitely pick a bottle up.

Not yet, I think after Christmas we will have a better idea on the lead time for these. It looks like whatever FRP had in stock went fast!
